man, why am I so awkward sometimes?? feeling slightly weaksauce, embarrassed, ashamed, disappointed in myself right now... sometimes feelings and emotions really suck. oh Jesus, help me.
aww Frances jie, i have these times all the time! where i kick myself over not handling a social situation well, aka being awkward. but we are all dorky people with flaws and weaknesses, and we can't be graceful all the time..that would make us perfect, which only Jesus can be. in those times where i'm hating on myself i have to remember that man's opinion of me holds no importance in comparison with God's. why put our self-worth and value in the hands of "mortal man, whose breath is in his nostrils?" people will think all kinds of things about us, but God's opinion is the only one that matters, that holds truth, and that counts in the end. you are loved, always always.
